You know, I have so many people in my life that constantly talk about their problems. Hey, I get it, we all have them. Why cant we just have one day of talking about what we have to be thankful for?

Ill even start.
Im thankful for my children.
My place on this earth, no matter how insigniificant that may be.
For love.
For pain.
For my animals.
That I woke up this morning, and I have been given one more day.
Oh, yes, and for the glorious plant we all love so much!

Yes, if we all could count our blessings, and not our sorrows, we would be much happier. It is difficult though for us to see it at times. I know this.

I am thankful to be alive
I am thankful for a loving understanding, stand by each other, family
I am thankful that I am able to tell you just how thankful I am,, some days it just isn't in me and I hate that lol
I am thankful that I never gave up on my passion for our lovely plant, and am thankful that I have found such a relaxing informative place like gp
I am thankful for the sun shine on this first day of spring

I am thankful for having a roof over my head and food to eat.

I am also thankful for my medical marijuana patients. They have become good friends.

I am thankful and grateful that I can help others and in some way, make someone else's life better, that I have never even seen. It makes me feel very needed and useful. Like I have a task here to do. It makes me very happy.

I used to tell my kids when they where little to try and do something kind for someone else and don't get caught! To teach them the feeling of happiness of giving to others. They where very little then, and as they got older, they just would roll their eyes. But they are kind people now.

I know you and I have never met. But I want you to know that having you in my life gives me one more reason to get out of bed in the morning. You listen, comfort encourage and inspire me. I am honored and grateful to receive these generous gifts you bestow.

I am also grateful for gratitude. Sounds strange I know but wait...
While in a state of gratitude, I am experiencing joy and fulfillment and those are two of my most favorite things, so I LOVE to live there!

Friends, lovers, dirt, sunshine, flowers, good food, funny stories, hugs, kisses, sex, comfort, pleasure, challenges, debates, discussions, intimacy, deep meaningful conversation, fun and laughter, music, music, music, music, night skys, blue skys, storms, strong winds, soft breezes, fire places, snuggling... pets animals nature science air someone to talk to...
I am a freak so there is no end in sight so I should just stop before I get carpel tunnel. In conclusion. I am grateful to be alive today and to have hope for a new and glorious day again tomorrow.

I love this thread. I have been doing a lot of bellyaching about my stress level and my miserable job... glad to have a chance to show that I am not usually a complainer.

I'm thankful for:

#1. My house which has a new roof and all new appliances. No worries there for a while.
#2. For my children, even though I don't see most of them very often.
#3. My new grow which has everything but C02 (maybe next year?). (Thanks to Hi-Dez for helping me choose the equipment.)
#4. For my dog, Ruby and our Umbrella ****atoo, Hootie, who keep us always entertained.
#5. My youngest son who still lives at home and takes care of me.
#6. Places like these where I can discuss my latest passion, growing.:-)

That is also why I started this thread. I do spend entirely too much time worrying, being angry, or depressed. So I figured I can concentrate my efforts on what I do have that is good in this life
