i was wondering if someone with a ppm meter and a standard multimeter could run some test for me. based on the idea that the soulution builds salts , which adds to electrical conductivity , i wonder if someone could take the ec test with multimeter everytime they check their solution with the real tester. if a bracket could be made( peace of foam or plastic) that has a hole for each probe. nothing fancy just a block with 2 holes to keep probs same distance from one and the other. If some one could post a chart showing the electrical reading for each test they take along with the ppm findings for the same test .this would be appreciated. as many have a mult meter hanging around. the perfect time for someone to start this experiment would be when they are at thier max ppm(prob about 1600-2000 parts disolved solids and continue untill flower where you have been flushing regularly to bring back to 0-200 ppm for harvest. thanks i hope to find a solid relation and have one more threfty tool for a garden for the cheapskates among us. WHAT WHY ARE U LOOKIN AT ME . jk im guilty.
id do the test my self but that would mean buying a total dissolved solids tested myself and thats not going to happen any time soon.
