These are what I used for my most recent harvest. Sadly, the tallest, clear jar is empty, the other clear one has a 1/4 oz or so, and the white jar is full. As you can see from the other pics, I'll have to wait for the outdoor harvest, sometime around Oct. 1st, to refill and hopefully, break-in some others. It looks SO empty, in there. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Pappy For This Useful Post: | |

Mine are just plain old mason jars used for canning.

man, that blue one is sure a sweet looking jar - also will keep the light from your buds a bit
mine are like these of ours
just plain clear glass jars from ikea, before i was using those i used big pickle jars but you can wash them for ever and they still will have that light hind of vinegar to them

I was going to pick up some 1L mason jars since I just chopped half my crop.
Lumix were your jars shown in the freezer? How full do the jars need to be to freeze? Will there be any freezer burn to the bud?
Thanks

Rep Power: 0 | | I do not use jars.
I use glad containers as the final step in my process. If it's good enough to hold food then it is ok to hold weed and they are very stackable for storage. I do like that big blue one tho

I am just drying now so I will go into jars to cure for a bit I'm thinking a couple of weeks opening a few times a day.
Once they are cured I like the food saver containers idea. Do you just put the buds in no stems? Do they freezer burn at all? How long can you keep them in the freezer?
Thanks

Rep Power: 0 | | I would never use the freezer
I cannot remember exactly why ( I will edit this post when I do) but there is a reason you do not want to freeze your buds. Refrigerated yes, freeze no. I put all of mine in a box kept them in a cool dark closet and removed them as needed. I cured them in these containers. I would spread them out on the floor 3-4 times a week and sample, sample, sample, hehehe. Quote:

don't have pics, but I take regular canning jars and wrap them up in gorilla tape. Keeps just about all the light out and when I drop them I don't freak out. You don't get admire your buds without pulling them out though.

frozen trichomes when handled would break off the bud -- you would have to let thaw completly before handling them
