Default Have you tried this?

Hi everyone, I am about to harvest and I am preparing for drying my weed, but I have read a lot of newbies like me get mold during this process, so I am better checking with you before commiting a terrible mistake. I know there are many questions but please help in what you can

a) Is this drier appropiate? Have you use it or a similar to this one?
b) I have also read that I will need a small fan to move the air but the fan air should never be hitting direct to the drier, is this right?
c) Must the drier room be totally dark?
d) And what is the sweet spot temperature of the drier room? Is it good to use an electric heater?
Thanks for your time, and specially for all your help
Peace

I've never seen one of those. Keep the humidity down with air blowing over them and you should be OK. Yes, totally dark and the temps should be between 70-80 degrees. I wouldn't use a heater. Some people use dehumidifiers. I just use a fan blowing over my drying bud.
Good Growin.

Ya Bro I Have Seen Them Work For Many People, So Yes It Will Be Appropriate.

& Like Bill Said, A Fan To Move Air Around, I Don't Put If Directly On Them But Around Them, It Can Dry Them To Fast & Make Them Real Brittle.

& Yes On Total Dark Room.

And Then Again I'll Chime In With Bill, 70*f. To 80*f., Low Humidity, No Heaters, The Slower They Dry The Better.

and I agree with hatch on all of this
the slower the dry
the better the bud

OR you can build your own dry box
It is very easy if you have some good woodworking tools

NOTE: Be sure to have your bud drier in a dry place
If you place it in the basement make sure you have a de-humidifier in there

Not much to add to the above, other than keep your humidity around 40% while you're drying. After 3 to 5 days the buds will be completely dry , but the stems won't be. That's when I do my second trim and place the buds into jars for curing. Burp'm every day and in a week... Paydirt... Peace and enjoy.
