Ah Ha! I just knew I wasn't the only penny-pinchin poster! :vampire:
A trip to town (like today) nearly always includes a stop at Salv. Army, Value Village or more than one...
Didn't find much today for the grow room, but did pick up a book for $ .99 that I plan to re-sell (sideline biz) in the $100 range, min. Sometimes if you look ahrd enough and long enough you do find that needle-in-a-haystack once in a while.
I've used several of the cheap in-line fans from Lowes, they suck, as a rule. Best low-cost fan I've found is from Honeywell, and it sits in a gimble mount. I take it out of it's mount and mount directly in the wall. relatively quiet, blows mucho air (guessing 300 CFM) and does it every day for 20 hrs. About $8.00 at Fred Meyer when they stock them (not till next spring).
I found my re-circulating fan at Salvation Army...but unlike Mogie I went the whole-hog and paid $3.00 for it!
