Diatomaceous Earth (DE).. 100% organic bug conrol
I haven't seen it mentioned her at GP.. (maybe I missed it)

The most natural bug control agent 'I' know of.
If you know of others, let us know what they are.

DE is made from fosilized crustacions (little critters) mined and pulverized. Its' finished state is like talcum powder. It kills bugs 'physically'. Apparently DE forms microscopic razor blades and as bugs crawl over them they cut themselves up on the DE bits. Dairy farmers use it in the feed for their milk cows.. it kills bugs, eaten by the cow while grazing, in their stomachs (what 7 stomachs or the like!??), so it's safe to use around pets.. might even help with worms or such.

I do mix it into my hydroton stash so no bugs decide to nest in it.. and feel like it might help with any meium born pests that may present themselves during the grow in the Hydroton containers.

'Bug Parinoia'... yes.. dont want no frickin' bugs in my home!

It is mentioned in several posts, and some to do with fungas gnats...but it is always good to mention it again so others can find it.
