I've bought that before, it was allright, it worked. I use tanks now, and think they are more cost effective.

Hey Hobo, you can get tanks at welding supply co. and beverage beer distributor,Airco gases.Look in the phone book or google it in your area. Most places do it like this you buy the tank and filled, when it's empty you take it back and they take yours and give you a full one for the price of the co2.You own the tank so you can have it filled any where.Renting the tanks you have to return to them to fill it.
Peace

PEACE

Oh yeah FM Those boost buckets are a waste, You can go to any welding gas company and ask for carbon dioxide and the will give it to you. You can get the small tanks and tell um its for a keg or get the big tanks but ask for welding grade (Its the same stuff just 5 bucks more) I used the stuff for years never any questions. A Mig welder uses co2.

I've gotten tanks filled dozens of times, and not one person has ever asked me what I use the co2 for, it's never happened. It is good to be ready with an answer though, if need be.
How long a tank will last, depends on too many factors to answer. Size of room, ppm you'll be adding, how often you evacuate/exhaust the room and so on.
In short, I believe I get about 3 weeks for my $25 dollar tank.
I want to add, and this may get some controversy from other people, but in my opinion, and from my personal findings, I've found that it is best to start co2 usage, early on during the vegging stage. If it needs light, it can benefit from co2.
Peace

Great thread! I also have heard that you must have a sealed room. This means no exhaust? Or just exhaust and no gaps? I will never be able to seal all the holes in my room. I don't think that is! LOL!
