Hey Guys Has anybody bought lights or ballest fromm 1000Bulbs.com?I got two ballest and one blub .Later got a cfl 150 watt made a shade for it and post it here.Last week the blub flexers and go's out and started to smoke.Pulled out the light and opened it.the tranformer smoked.Everything else looks good.I got it in 9/07 and the warranty is 12 months,if it blow in the first 30 days they pay the shipping.After that you pay shipping awhole $9.50 big deal.I look at my bank and it says $20.25 charge 1000blubs.I call and they go about fixing it , ok Then they sent me e-mail that they are shipping it to my PO Box.Back on the phone and they try to tell me I told them to ship it there.No way do I get any packages there.I never have stuff shiped there.Just the bankstatment and driver license.What would have been 5 days is now turning into 2 weeks.There company is a mess,in record keeping,they did have the right order # with my name and account.Well that's the last I buy from them and I told them so on the phone after I get this blub we will no longer do busness.Every time I ordered I had to follow it up with a phone call just so I would get it.Best of Luck with them. Well here's the follow on 1000Blubs.they returned the $20.90 to my bank.Stop at my PO Box and the lightblub was there.I guess with calling them two times they paid the shipping.
One thing I did fine out about these 150watt cfl is they get alittle hot at the base where the ballest is.I got a 25cfm fan blowing on it now so I will see if that helps. PEACE
