I am kind of worried though. He shipped it UPS but what does this mean:

What is origin scan? Do I have anything to worry about?

no no..they are sending you tracking messages on your package location hense the title "Package Progress". That way your able to have an idea of how much longer untill your package arrives. My best guess on the origin scan though would be to pull up the original place where package was sent from to obtain the billing info...? I may be wrong on that, but you shouldn't worry.

Nah...origin scan is just part of the shipping/tracking process.

Relax dude...it is not illeagal to buy or own a grow light.

They will also send you tracking information. There will be a number, related to your package and when you go to the UPS site you will be able to tell exactly where your package is by putting in that info.

Yeah friend, you have nothing to worry about. That info is there for you and UPS to be able to track the pkg until it is safely delivered to you. Its info used if you track your pkg during shipment via the internet or by phone. No worries and good growing. As said before, it is not illegal to buy the light. Just like you can buy opium poppy seeds, raise the plant and let it flower. But as soon as you cut the pod for the opium to run out you are in violation of the law . Oh, sorry my needle skipped, anyway your set Peace...
