Fascinating stuff! Recent events in the world have lead me to do a little digging in history. At least for the country I reside in. From what I was taught in school is the Pilgrims came here because of political oppression, clashed with the Native Americans, England over stepped its bounds, Revolution, Declaration of Independence, Constitution, settling the west, slavery, civil war, etc...
So how did the pilgrims, ones who wanted to get away from political oppression in the Midlands of England turn into the founding fathers of the Constitution of the United States. The founding fathers, being Freemasons, the formation of the government resembles the structure of the group. There symbols are all over the place, yet, you really never hear to much about them. I've noticed, lately, that the "Lodge" is next to or near the "Town Hall". Most of the local policy makers, frequent the lodge. I was told, years ago they get into a company and pretty much control the management structure.

So...I've come to the conclusion this is there country. They set it up. They control it. In secert. As fund raisers. As revered comunity leaders. As spirital leaders.
So I am wondering what countries in the world do not have "Masonic temples"?
I was taught that Australia was a prison land. Is this true?
How about South America?
Anyone got any thoughts?
