Why Is Marijuana Still Illegal Imo

This is my firm belief/rant as to one of the many things that is keeping marijuana prohibited in the United States...

Almost every labor contract ever drafted in the united states includes a clause, that allows workers to "halt the assembly line" and fuel up on DRUG that keeps them in a glazed over sense of acceptance of screwing a widget on to a whompit. What drugs? coffee.... cigarettes. More stimulant drugs that keep the worker more productive in a sense.

Also take a look at another licit drug... alcohol. Its stapled into the fabric of our culture, i could not be prohibited because of how much we crave it. Its socially accepted and promotes some more social activity, networking business events, loosening up congressmen at an expensive lunch with a lobiest to get a paticular bill passed... ect.

Why is marijuana continuously prohibited, and constantly having more laws attached to its sale and distribution.

BECAUSE A MARIJUANA USER DOES NOT FIT THE IDEALISTIC MODEL OF A PRODUCTIVE CITIZEN IN A CAPITALIST INDUSTRIAL ECONOMY

Most people who smoke marijuana are already at an understanding that the war against it is all bullshit, and it is merely a harmless plant with oodles of medicinal value. And these people tend to question other flawed things in government... that have been put in place to keep things in order... keep the economy stimulated.

And a marijuana user... lets face it... were stoners, we forget things, we like to relax, maybe aren't as motivated as we are when were not stoned... of course there are exceptions... but this is the generalization.

if u really think of a economical view its cause the government get so much tax money off cigs and alcohol and we all know how much control they have over production of that stuff and we know the lack of control they have over weed when they get a control over growth and sell they will legalize it and tax they sell

thats initial tax money, they tax all demerit goods but the overall picture. a marijuana user, the general view is that , they are lazy and unproductive, which doesnt fit in the model of a productive citizen in a capitalist industrial economy AND government.

The answer to the reason MJ is still under prohibition in America and any other country is very simple. Money, Money, Money. Special interest groups have there money grubbing hands so deep in our and every other countries governments pockets that the polticians are walking around with strings attached to their backs while the special interest groups are the puppetiers. Do you think they want to or will ever admit that for decades they have known that MJ is a very useable medicine that can and has been used to treat serious illnesses? NO. Do you think they want or will ever admit that the reason it was outlawed to begin with was because Big $$$$ drug companies did'nt and still don't want you or I to be able to grow are meds in our own back yard or in our garage or closet? No. Of course they don't. They would rather we pay them for our meds. It's the same reason we are paying $3.50 for a gallon of gas. When there was enough research back in the 70's to use corn as an alternative fuel. Big $$$ special interest groups run this and every country in the world. It is a very unfortunate thing, but true.

thats another really good point, and another reason why herbal medicine cant get through aproval of thae FDA... because herbal medicine is to cheap to manufacture and easy to obtain..... the united states health care system is prob the most corrupt entity of our government... but my point i believe is one of the underlying reasons why marijuana remains illegal.

Is anyone a Terrence Mckenna fan??? He puts it very concise and has alot to say on this subject.. if you dont know who terrence mckenna is... than please go listen to this man speak...

he has since passed, but he was a great mind, speaking truth in all sorts of aspects of life, spirituality and politics, particularly ethno-pharmacology, and uses of psychedelics throughout time and in different cultures.

his brother who is still alive, dennis, focus's more on strictly physical study and pharmacology of psychedelics.

One of his greatest books is The Invisible Landscape its a great read, and will open your mind.

mostly tryptamines.. naturally occuring in the body, and those found in mushrooms.. not so much lsd and such, but def hugely influenced by tim leary. Extremely deep... lol

imho, weed should not be only legal,
but also government shoul pay for it.
this way everyone would be happy and wouldn't even think there're problems
and scare like war. terror and shit.
ps - i dont smoke myself, i just did it once and didn't really like it
i guess cuz i don't even smoke sigarettes
