I went to my first texas holdem tournment tonight. Did better then I expected. Beat my hubby (he thought he was going to wipe the floor with his dumb stoner wife).

Came in 5th.

This is going to become a weekly event. A cool way to can do something together.

So Mogie, how did your win go down? Did you face him at the end? Were you able to pick up a tell from him?

First off I wore sunglasses so nobody could read me.

Hubby has a habit of wringing/twisting his hands when he is bluffing. He might only do it once or twice. But that was enough. I got a enough chips to carry me to the final table.

Wow thats funny.. I just got home from playing in a churches charity texas holdem tourney. $100.00 to get in. 200 players and I came in second, but got the first place prize as the kid did not want to go to Vegas for 3 days and took the 42 inch plazma TV.
So I got the 3 days air and hotel to Vegas... which kinda sucks as I can not get into the states due to a crimminal record. o-well hell.
I was much fun though

Congratz unfortunately 5th prob doesnt pay out anything does it? I loooove tourneys. I have gotten first place online out of 4000 people playing for real money.
