No...I don't think we are the only forms of life...with all the stars out there and the possible "earth" like plant spinning around it. Its like the world is flat to people. My father was big on the idea that we are the only life forms...I just can't believe that. Someday we will find out...

I always think how very arrogant we are to think we are unique and alone as intelligent life in this universe. Any smart species I think would avoid us, as we seem to be a war like species, visous with little compassion for those we kill, full of prejudice and unable to peacefully solve our own problems. Why WOULD they contact us? And who says they have not already? I think we are being watched all the time, like parents watch children who might kill themselves with our stupid actions. Look at our world now! We ae already killing our planet after only a 100 years or so of industrialization. How stupid as a species we are, and so very unaware of our impact on the universe.
