Rep Power: 83 | | Let the growing begin!!!
Pappa is doing the majority of our grows lately, so now I am off starting another garden! A veggie garden YEAH!!!!
So Im starting some of my seedlings tonight. I cant wait to eat a whole salad grown completely from my own garden. Dont tell, but I may squeeze some ganja around my tomatoes!!!
I love the idea of sitting down to enjoy a meal you actually helped make.
Now Ill try my green thumb in a new arena....

I think this may help me encourage my son to eat more fruits and veggies. he only fancies a few, and it would be nice to have him eating a more round diet. hell, even me and the old man could stand to eat a bit better....

MG,
To me there is not much better than a home grown ripe tomato with EV olive oil, balsamic vinegar and some fresh ground black pepper, on a hot summer day, Its coming.

Home grown veggies are the best.
I might do a outdoor hydro veggie.
Did tomatoes flood and drain last year, killer.

Here some of them. The hydro seems to deal with high temps better than soil, and sucking insects too. | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to Tetrahyc For This Useful Post: | |

I went in this morning and peeked at my seedling trays... Holy spit....
my cucumbers are exploding out of the trays. I didnt get as many tomatoes plants as i wanted. I may have to clone em to get what i need for the year... Now Ill have to get my arse outside and till up the sod where Ill have the garden this year. Not really looking forward to that part.... but it'll be worth it down the road. Ill post some pics after I do some transplanting of the veggies....
Not as popular as the MJ pics, but just as useful of plants if you ask me!!!

If I had a typical house garden... maybe. But Im sorta stuck in the superwoman mind frame and always tend to bite off more than I can possibly chew. I am having an acre for my main garden. So I cant see that as being fun. I got my first sunburn of the year yesterday. Went out at 930 in the am to start raking my yard. I stopped at 500pm and realized it was time to give it up for the day. I still have 2/3 of the yard to finish cleaning before I can get to the garden work...
Anyone wanna come help me? LOL. Community gardening...

Your veggys/herbs look good. I've been battling mold for some reason. Plant come up and then some die off. I did not use any lime to balance the PH and its getting to "Hot" for them, I think. I still got plenty of time. Like I said your looks beautiful! Happy Growing!
