Rep Power: 134 | | I went fishing for the first time in 13 years today
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a milestone for me.
I went and bought a fishing license today, then fixed up my old fishing pole and went down to the City Harbor Marina here in my new home town.
After three casts, I caught this fish, a 24 inch Brown Trout !

Wow good for you man, and do I need to say ,,, Awesome trout,,a very good size. There is nothing like fishing when wanting to get away from it all. My dad put a fishing pole in my hand when I was three, don't dare to say how many years ago that was, but I have been fishing since.. Will you be going out more often now.. Have fun Richard, fishing, fun and relaxation all go together

Richard,
That is a beauty, nice catch! I am also an avid angler and like Deb said "There is nothing like fishing when wanting to get away from it all". I hope it tasted as good as it looked. Good luck with your grow and your next fishing expedition!

Gr8t catch Richard I wish I was there with you I love to fish. When will you eat it? Tells us how it tasted. Nothing like fresh trout. And it was a good size to eat not too big.

I went fishing again tonight, I didn't catch anything but I did have a gigantic fish follow my lure right up to my feet. I think it was an Atlantic Salmon. Just one person caught a fish tonight, here is a picture of it with my foot as a visual marker. This fish I saw was at least double the size of the fish in the provided picture !

as always! heheheeh
i started fishing again just this week after about 12-13 years also...
i didnt catch anything worth showing off, but some spear fishermen gave me two very large kingfish cause they were over the legal limit...
great to know i have a fishing partner out there somewhere on the other side of the big blue...

That's a nice trout, ROM! They're a fun fish to catch. I remember fishing a stream for brown trout with my dad and brother a few years back; I was the only one to catch anything, and it was maybe a third the size of the one you've got there, tops. Hit and miss...
