And we have much more to travel before our destination: FREEDOM

We must remember our ancestors, those willing to die so that we could be free, and embrace the same ideals ourselves, in everyday life.

I am here to lead, if I can, as many as I can down this road. And if I cannot lead, I will follow. I would prefer to even, but there are few leaders in this great marijuana civil rights movement, and I cannot give up no matter my critics, no matter the stress and hardships I may go through, I will always fight for and love my people.

And I ask of you, all you who feel the same in your hearts, that it is wrong to punish, it is wrong to hate someone simply for being a marijuana user and advocate.

So to you, those who feel as I do, be with me, stand with me, in Washington D.C. this July 4th and let the world know the strength of our message...

That we will not give up.

While I wholeheartedly agree, my point of contention with the current Leadership is that of regarding Marijuana as a commodity, to be sold at the highest possible profit.
TRUE Freedom will only come when every one of my neighbors have a few plants in their outdoor garden.

I'm not totally opposed to capitalism yet, the recent movement towards compromising Freedom in exchange for taxation really worries me. If that type of deal were struck, I fear home-grown would be included. Licenses to grow would soon follow, inspections of gardens as well as weighing of harvests to determine the proper amount to be taxed, etc. That doesn't sound like Freedom to me, how about you ?
