Remember this is how I take my cuttings for my reasons.
Notes: make cuts on a 45 degree angle to increase the surface area of exposed stem where roots will begin to form.
I also sometimes gently shave the outside layer of the stem off at the bottom of the cutting to expose more of the stem to areas where roots can form.
Use rubbing alcohol to disinfect your scissors.
Use a heating pad for faster results.
Yes i know it is common to cut BELOW the node about a half inch, I cut it just above, so that the node can continue to grow from that point. Im more concerned about keeping this donor plant in good condition for later flowering. Enjoy!!
PS i am a pathological liar, and have illusions of grandeur. I post pictures of pot plants i found on the internet and i have never nor will i ever consider the cultivation of marijuana, as it is illegal.

Q; Hobo...I see in the video that you are cutting the clones just ABOVE the node, but I had always thought you were supposed to cut about 14" to 1/2" BELOW the node.
Why the change, or am I wrong to start with?

i know what you mean, so that you have that area of the node to turn into places for roots to form. But like im saying i want the plant to recover as fast as possible, and the growth will continue right at the node where i cut it off. It will still by all means root, possibly not as fast or effective, but the priority is revolved around the plant im taking the cutting from, because it isnt a devoted mother plant, it is only a doner that i wish to flower later.
This is how I take clones.

I have just one suggestion, though. The voice frequency is somewhat low, for my old ears. I could understand most, but I really had to listen closely. But then, I can't hear worth a s*it, anyway. All in all, a very well done piece. I'll be looking for more of these from you. Keep it up.
