Rep Power: 500 | | Grow In A Shipping Container
I've been working on a new, larger room design.
And I've come up with this.A small shipping container is cheaper than a shed of the same size(8x8x20=$800-$1000),then you get to set it up.
The A/C unit in this video is a refrigeration unit for a walk-in frig.(overkill)
They make a slimline wall mounted A/C blower with remote condensor
It's made for additions. That would do the job for 1/3 the cost.
As for Co2 I don't suggest a burner in a small grow room.
If you want Co2 enrichment use a bottled/regulated system.

That's a pretty sweet idea. I just don't like the fact that it is still outside of a standalone house and a little less secure from that perspective.
Don't get me wrong.. I would LOVE to have a setup like that.

I missed that the first time through.. but yeah.. I don't see one either and there is no mention of it. That room looks pretty pristine.. like it hadn't been used yet. Maybe it is still being built and has yet to be put in? Still a major missing feature. Quote:

Actually, a lot of people use them for storage. Contractors, supply yards, etc.... pretty common. Now, having one sit in your backyard, or that spare parking spot out front of your apartment may raise some eyebrows.. Quote:

By using a shipping container instead of a shed,You have just recycled the container. We've used these in my bussines for years.Pull the doors off,and set it up against a backdoor of a building, flash it to the wall and you gain valuable squarefootage...

I think it's really cool and since it's completely secure there is no reason why anyone should stumble in there and cause any panic. It probably seals off all odor and any suspicion towards it. He didn't show any marijuana plants so he's all good.

I got one for 5K in 1993, my brother uses it to store his antiques.
There air vents at the top of container so sealing it would be important for odor and ventilation.
My brother has the same one today some 16 years later in the cold of the northwest.

i have a fellow med grower that buried his container and pored a set of steps to enter replacing the back doors with treated plywood and installed a 36 inch steel walk in door.he runs a light track he diy track with 3 1000 watt lights on it.(2 hps and 1 mh)he clones and vegs in his basement.air intake and exhaust also is vented trough the plywood.being buried he uses nether,ac or heat.he manages these by having speed controls installed on both a 12 inch air exhaust and a 6 inch intake.there is the odd time he suplements the heat with space heaters.

If you have a nice big yard you could dig a huge hole and bury it, just have some small steps that run down to it, once you replace the turf no-one would even know it was there.
