High all...
Woodstock... 40 years ago (today, I think)...
I got there, the evening 'before' the madness started... 3 days...
I rember walking toward the stage area and some guy asking if anyone wanted some orange ozley (spelling??) $2/ four way hit (pill).. (funny how I can remember that stuff and nothing about yesterday!?)
anyway.. I bought one and b4 I could eat it (thank god I didn't eat the whole thing!!!) My bud said... "what about me, I have no money" .. there for the weekend and no money... OK Larry... here you go... I didn't see him again untill the following Tuesday, back home... and except for """" FLASHES"""" i DON'T REMEMBER MUCH.. next day I met another friend that bought the same Orange Ozley.. ate another half.. most physically depleteing and hallusinegenic LSD I've ever done.. I did allot back then...
I remember it raining but not being wet.. didn't have a tent.. found the car the last day b4 we left... good luck! don't remember eating much.. hog farm... oats/powdered sugar/rasins/nuts...
Half a million people and I was basically there alone! LOL!!!!!!
Amazing! 40 years, shot to hell!! HAHAHA!!!!!

I watched a Woodstock Special on TV last night. My 15 year old boy asked me if I went. I told him that I was gonna turn 4 that weekend and that I didn't go. He asked if I knew anyone that went. I said no. Now I can say yes! That orange ozley sounds like some blue star I had back in 88. Really good!!!! Anyway - thanks for sharing!

I saw JJ twice at the Filmore East (NY,NY) I was at her show where that classic clip of her on stage with the silver dress and vodka bottle... juiced to the max...
and at Woodstock, I remember seeing her.. but I don't remember it, really. She was very good..

Gr8t story so glad you told it. It would have been cool to be there for sure. I would think some folks who were there bought the video to help with their memories.
