Happy Birthday to ME !
Today I'm 51 and looking forward to the next 49 years.
I am happy to announce that I'm Legal as of 1:45 pm, March 25, 2009

My personal physician finally agreed to sign the documents for Michigan's Medical Marihuana Program. It wasn't easy but, after 3 visits where I spoke about the therapeutic/palliative relief I receive by consuming marijuana, this small town, very conservative doctor finally agreed with me.
My medical necessity is a very long story which I won't recite now but, suffice to say consuming marijuana has allowed me to reduce my intake of opiates from every 4-6 hours down to once, maybe twice a day.
That is a huge step forward for me as I've been chewing these for the past 13 years. Not only has it lead to physical dependency, side-effects on my body, it also contributed to depression.
When you live alone, have gone through the trials I've gone through and are constantly on opiates, you tend to not think much of life.

I am grateful my fellow residents have seen fit to allow me to grow enough marijuana to keep me amply supplied throughout the year.

Happy B-Day & Congrats on getting onto Michigan's Medical Marijuana Program. I bet that's a huge relief!!
