Legal Medical Marijuana Price

Hi everybody, no that wasn't a question. But it can be if you want it to be. I just want to know from someone who lives in California as to what is the price of medical grade marijuana there? Here in the midwest it is $370 an ounce or $20 a gram, $60 for an 3.5 grams. Who the hell can afford an ounce a week at that price! I hear its $45 for 3.5 grams in Ca., even that is overpriced to me! I don't know about anybody else but that's the amount I need to stay nausea free. I have Diabetic Neuropathic Gastro Paresis. Which means some of the muscles in my stomach used for digesting food are paralyzed. This results in what's called 'Delayed Stomach Emptying' which in turn causes chronic nausea. I feel sorry for people who have to take chemo and the nausea/cancer that goes with it. But if they cure the cancer the nausea goes away when the chemo is stopped. Mine doesn't, it goes away when I die. Yet somehow only chemo related nausea gets attention, or even legalization. I had to fight like hell just to get my insurance company to pay for my Marinol prescription. They finally approved it after I became such a pest. We shouldn't have to go through this just to get our medicine. Marijuana was illegalized for racial purposes in the first place and nothing scientific or medical is keeping it illegal, only politics. i don't know if it true but i heard that the what ever there called there pays at least 6 grand a pound and thats for the bottam of the line stuff there but it's been 3 or 4 years since i heard that if i rember right

Thanks for the info ice#1. That's what it goes for here in the midwest. That's for Medical grade from California or there abouts, but you can get some pretty good schwag here for $1000 a Lb. Which is more economical but just not as good. It's like comparing spam to filet mignon. It will control my nausea but it doesn't taste as good and sometimes you get a mild headache, which means it could have pesticide's on it. I know it takes work to grow quality cannabis but is it that expensive/hard to justify those prices? I don't think we should have to pay out of reach prices. We will win the war and God's creation will once again be available to the people. Peace, thanks again...

thats for the worst of the worst they got from what i heard the only other price i've ever heard is 10,000 a pound but i couldn't see anyone dumb enough to go for that which guess to mateing comes out to in the neingborhood of 70 to 80 buck for 3.5 grams but thats at buying it by the pound and i'm sure those compassion centers change a nice lil mark up so i figure the 6,000 grand is a lil more likely which comes out to almost 50 bucks for 3.5 grams. damn all this figureing is makeing me realize i need to move to cali and grow for a few of those compasion shops

WTF??? It's only a weed and a prolific one at that. Yeah, I know it takes daily care to insure a quality crop, and I do not have a green thumb, just an arthritic one. But these prices are out of control. Just as marijuana should and will once again be totally legal, then we can start growing it, selling it and buying it by the BUSHELL BASKET!!! Just like any other crop. You know it's going to be that way for Indusrial Hemp, so why not for people who use it for medical reasons and can't afford those prices. I think Oregon has the right idea in one of their compassion coalition communes growers freely contribute excess marijuana i.e. more than they are legally allowed to grow. Then they put all that in one bag, so to speak, and this is what is available for poor people and/or the disabled. Now that sounds like a plan.

From what I hear, the price of outdoor Mendocino County bud is from around 2000 to 2800 per lb. depending on the quality of the bud. Good indoor goes from 3000-3800 a lb. wholesale, (direct from the grower). I can not verify these prices, but this is what I hear on the streets here in N. Cali. Who knows what it retails for?

Ahh the great state of California born here moved around the world an still came back....

As for medical prices here it is ridiculous how much these clubs can charge. At 3250 a lb is standard club price (what the grower gets)-then it can go for as much as 80 for an1/8 oz or you get a break and get 1/4 for 140! Then all the novelty stuff like the cigars 50 and oils 30-60( both prohibitively expensive and not that great of quality) I have also heard the tale of 8000-10000 buck weed for a lb but I mean cmon who is gonna pay that much? The most I ever heard here is 4300 and that was stuff that makes you wish you could walk or move ..
Thanks to friends I never have to visit these establishments--but if I had to I would complain--That all said we do live in a democratic country so the way to bring the prices down is everyone grow your own and those that cannot can share or invest with the ones that can----thus taking away the demand and then driving down the club prices. After all they can't put all the country in jail-----

thats sad they charge such a high mark up i had it figured wrong for what they pay for it but almost spot on for what there chargeing for it guess i better cancel the moveing truck (shakeing head damn i thought i was going to become rich) hell i think i been over chargeing people but hey it aint my fault they offer 150 a quarter i'd have to be a retard to turn down the extra cash and that was to someone who turned around and sold it for more thats why when i do sell a lil here and there i don't have no set price i smoke a bowl with them then tell them to make me an offer. the same strain i have also sold as low as 70 a quarter point being if you ever sell any of your personal stash don't set a price you may be shocked at what people will pay if it's good and they can't get anything like what you got anywhere else

Down here in florida we're on the 25/50 or 30/60 system depending on the dealer.... (half eighth oz/eighth oz)

but then again I can get non-sensemilla midgrade for like 25/half oz... not too bad...
