We are in-between blizzards, according to the news....EVEN has a name...If anyone is stuck in this mess with me...To Snowzilla 2008! it has been wiping out most of the middle part of North America for the last few days and is not over yet.
...in the last 18 hrs we had no heat and with that no hot water as that is oil too...stupid ass oil company...all fixed now but not till this morning when we got plowed out. See the driveway? yesterday, 1/4 into this storm we crawled home...going about 2 miles an hours...total white outs..slipping and sliding...cars in ditches. And then the furnace quite! Jehosephate! No way we could get out of our driveway, so thank goodness we have electric heaters and ovens. It actually takes 3 days without heat before you have to worry about your pipes freezing, in most cases so we are fine.... and then once we had oil the furnace would not start so a friend fixed that...all before 8 am!
...yes WB, you are a wuss!!!!

Too bad they don't make transparent papers so the pretty would show through.

Hi, They do make transparent papers. Pure cellulose, even burning, smooth taste. I dont really like them cause my mind thinks Im using saran wrap. I have a 4 year plan to move out of where I am, not necessarily to snow country, but since Im getting older and dont do much of anything when it's cold I may as well live in the snow again....Nim hates the white stuff. I hate the cold...we'll see what happens. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Flamingohippie For This Useful Post: | |

Those look like some killer nugs. I'm really digging the purple tones and tints. What strain is that and what kind of nutes did you use? They do make clear papers. Well I think they're made of cellulose of something. It taste great but burns funny (goes out quick).

It is Kish, Ambrosia and Northern Flame all from Vancouver seed bank. It is the cooler temps that make the colours. My flower room gets quite cool in the dark,(51 f) and outside they where pretty too. Nutes are FoxFarm and in the soil, bone meal, bloodmeal and dolimite lime as well as manures and FF American Pride. Also. lots of molasses adds to the sugar.
Peace

Peace | I heard molasses helps chelate and breakdown the organic materials. How do you avoid mold in 51F? Ouch, I try not to go under 75F because mold thrives in those temps. Which one of those strains is the real dark purple one? Stay Warm.

My room gets pretty cool during there nights. I think mold it not a issue as long as the humidity is down and the plants are using up what they need...in a timely manner. Allowing the soil to dry out to some degree...
Peace. Quote:

I have no problems with mould at all, it is about at the highest right now 20% due to the cold. I let them dry well before watering and keep a fan on them. No mould.
Outside when all we had was rain but we had good wind, I had a very small amount. I mean I was watching for it, and maybe 4 small buds, low in the plant where the wind did not dry them as well. Nothing major so I was lucky. Do not foreget a lot of these strains are developed from British Colombia weather which is quite humid at times, so that is good too.
Peace
