"durt's recommendation" for glycerine-based cannabis tincture [anti-infective, anti-bacterial, anti-septic and loaded with good fatty acids]

take two ounces of cannabis product. this can be two ounces of shake, or kif, or a few shade leaves. i use many parts of the plant that are only available to me as a medicinal grower in Oregon where i am a legal AIDS patient with HCV who is legally licensed to medicate myself, so i use the following in varying combinations, roughly:

50% "popcorn" buds
25% top bud
25% sugartrim and tiny shade leaves that are perfect and clean [from the colas]

regardless of whether you use all bud or varying parts of the plant, you need eight [8] ounces of quality food-grade glycerine , 1 Quart Ball Jar, AND ONE OUNCE OF DESSICATED CANNABIS PRODUCTS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE or just buds if that's all you can get but the more trichomes the better so stronger medicine yeilds stronger tincture

i blend the trichomes from several different strains, usually. sativas and indicas.

THIS RECIPE CAN BE DOUBLED OR TRIPLED IN A SINGLE QUART BALL JAR.
this is a cold-process extraction that takes two months.
KEEP THE JAR IN A DARK CUPBOARD AND SHAKE THE SLOPPY GREEN GOOP AROUND EVERY DAY, SEVERAL TIMES, PREFERABLY CHANTING A MANTRA OR PRAYER.

GET A FRIEND THAT HAS A FRUIT-PRESS. [THANKS, LOGAN!] A GOOD, STAINLESS STEEL FRUIT-PRESS.

YOU WILL ALSO NEED A JELLY-BAG.

after two months of blessing and shaking and inverting the jar, your tincture is ready to press. spoon out of jar with rubber spatula the green goopy goop into the jelly-bag. the fruit-press has a tap, you may want an extension in the way of a plastic whip to help funnel the liquid into a bowl or jar.

PRESS THE BAG AS HARD AS YOU CAN. IT IS BALL-BUSTING WORK.
the elixir of the gods is now yours. it is like honey in consistency, and loaded with active medical principal of the First Order.

head and scalp
feet
hands
cuts
infections
abrasions
rashes
Herpes
toenails [antifungal]
under your foreskin [anti-fungal] if you have one

with heat:

YOU can ALSO SPEED UP THE PROCESS BY HEATING FOR SEVERAL HOURS AT NO GREATER THAN 170 DEGREES F in a double-boiler with the jar surrounded with water inside the doubler-USE A MEAT THERMOMETER for about 4-6 hours at the very least. the combination worked well, a month in the jar followed by four hours on the stove.

ADDENDA: the vegetable material that remains after squeezing out the 'tinc' [tincture] is still full of psychoactive ingredients, and has been sweetened by the glycerine saturation. it now has a nutty, yummy flavour and is suitable for adding to a spice apple cake [my favorite with cream-cheese icing] or to brownies and will keep you 'medicated' for days. :-) also, this material can be kept in a glass jar in a dark cupboard and will never grow mold as it is so full of antioxidants.
