Default Yellow clones? Oh no!

So yesterday I checked my Haze special clones in their bubbler hydro unit. there is only 5 of them (the 2 parents turned out to be one male one female) so im really trying to keep these guys alive. One of them did seem strong and rooted, but over the past few days has gotten a lighter green and now a yellow on the leaves. i cleaned and changed the water to make sure, but today still nothing better....if not worse off....the leaves are getting really yellow and curling. should i add nutes maybe? i dont want to add more and make the problem worse. the other clones seem to be doin ok....a little drooping but none as discolored. please help thanks :-D

Are you foliar feeding them at all? When was the last fluid change for the bubbler?

Pics would help. My clones in the bubbler seem to last a long time there...had them up to 35 days in the old set-up, these are rooting faster in the current bubbler.

first of all do clones hardly need any fertilizer - and i would never spray a plant with fertilizer (never used superdrive, but as it is a fertilizer i wouldn't use it that way)

if you are foliar feeding then please just water - clones need very little of most and damage is done quickly. to point it out a bit further: you can grow a clone in tab water without doing anything - some people say bigbud is difficult to clone but it wasn't a problem at all to do it that way - without ever spraying em!

point made - don't feed nutes to a clone or you end with burns.

they are in the rockwool in a bubbler right now. do ya think i could just plant the rockwool in potting soil in some cups like my other plants? or should i keep the clones in the bubbler? i need more space in my cabinet and that tub takes up a bunch

i never tried that, i had the same idea last year after i ran out off plugs - my hydro store was busted, owner was a grower too- so i was stuck there, not willing to order over internet and thought "why not putting a jiffy in that hole?" tried to find someone that might have done it before, couldn't and pussied out worried that the soil could plug up the grodan cub. so i can't make a call on that part, sorry.

On the other hand grows shaman in a blubber too and if i recall his post right, in that thread where in that shaman/kieahtoka try to outgrow each other, then he is using a jiffy pellet in his DWC.

a big thing with clones is temperature, if your medium or water is too cold, they never going to grow roots. get a heating for that tank, 50W fishtank heating set to 80F. that should kick em hard enough to make em grow.
I wouldn't take them out of the rockwool now to replant em to soil. they can grow in both just fine, so keep em there.

pick off any yellow leaves now, and hope it recovers, it makes a huge difference for the little clones when they dont have to be hindered by trying to revive its dying parts.
