Could be some shock from light intensity. How far from the plants is the hps. The light should be about 3 feet from the plants for a day or 2, to let them get used to the greater intensity. And the increased heat. Got a pic?

I think it is just reacting to the increased light. You might want to mist them, and have a fan gently moving the air through to prevent any mold or other nasties. If the light is the only thing that has changed, they should be fine in a day or 2.

well heat stress can cause such but also over watering, then they get droopy too - but those 6 in the pictures are looking fine and the HPS is far enough of the plants nothing will happen due to it.

i find that if the leaves are waxyish, and drooping its most likely overwatering, while if they are dry thin brittle and drooping, its most likely underwatering? would you concur? Quote:

good. Watering can be tricky sometimes, when its too hot and it ends up sweating out the plant, and evaporating out of the mix. Or when its slightly more humid it takes slightly longer to dry out. I usually go with a very slightly diluted solution when i feed in much hotter temps, as water sweats away and leaves nutes behind in the medium and in the plant. You can also water in slightly smaller amounts more often, just to help cool down your garden. Quote:

Yes I think it was transplant sock.Chaging the lights and there environment around will slow or have you thinking you are killing them. It's normal for plants to do this. Put your hand at the top of the plant and if your hand feels warm raise the light an 1" or so till you feel no heat.Hold your hand where for a few mins. to know for sure.Glad they are perking up.You are doing good keep it up and the pixs too. PEACE
