Nope I have never tried alcohol. At what ratio did you mix with water or did you apply straight? How are your plants reacting to this?

1:1 ratio.... i heard it kills them lil shits instantly.... it looks fine its only been about a hour or so. im thinking about misting it with tap water to maybe wash off whatever is left on the leaves from the alcohol.... bet its a clean plant tho!!

Rep Power: 0 | | 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water is what I have read.
I used listerine and water @ 1:3. It killed them but I was unable to reach some of the undersides of the leaves, which meant doom. I read about the listerine in conjunction with an email I got say it was great to fend off mosquitoes saying it killed them on contact and if you mixed it 50/50 with water and sprayed around doors and windows and even spraying around the deck. I knew it worked on mosquitos cause I tried it. Go here and look under pest control Drugs-Forum - Cannabis cultivation: Overgrow's GrowFAQ Quote:

Has anyone noticed this year EVERYBODY has either fungas gnats or spider mites? Is this a friggen plague or what is happening here? I think this is unreal. Weather change? No idea.
You know folks, I was just thinking...(a dangerous thing to do!) I have read that Bounce fabric softener sheets if put in the pocket will keep bugs away when outside. I wonder if it would work on these little twerps? It is a thought anyway.
Good luck buddy with the darn things, WB will help you out, he is a good fellow to have on your side!
Peace
