I know some of you are using Digital USB Microscopes for your grows, what is a good low cost USB Microscope? I have been using the same optical scope for years and my eyes are just not as good as they used to be, so I thought maybe it was time to step it up to a USB Digital Scope.
Sorry if there is a thread on this already, I looked and may have missed it if there is.
I so just ordered that toy you recommended, Dagre420 You can get it from amazon for 24.99, add something else super cheap to bring it up over 25$ and it ships for free.
It looks absolutely ideal, color screen, usb memory to transfer the pics to the comp so you can share with everyone on the forums.
They work wonderfully well! I bought mind for $99 a couple of months ago. They were on sale the week of 420 for $79. :-( They are wonderful though! Here's a sample shot.
This is my tongue.

OMG!!!!...That is one of the Koooolest things I've ever seen
I reall think anyone in the market for a device like this should consider the Eyeclops Bionicam. Amazon.com: EyeClops BioniCam: Toys & Games. It has a built in color screen, shoots 1.3 mega pixel stills aswell as movies at 100X, 200X & 400X zoom levels. I like the fact that i don't need to drag a laptop or television around like you would need to with many other units and at $24.99 you can't beat it.
All orders over $25.00 get free shipping so add this sparkplug for $0.56 and get it shipped for free. Amazon.com: SplitFire SF419D Spark Plug: Automotive $ THATS $25.55 SHIPPED FOR A 1.3 MEGA PIXEL, 100X-400X DIGITAL MICROSCOPE WITH A COLOR SCREEN!!!
****ing awesome. Heres a link to a video some lady shot of some lice. The detail is amazing.
Hey All What's Up!!!,,Just A Few Thing's On The EyeClop's, It Is Just A Toy, A Very Fun Toy, It Does Take A Bit To Get Used To It & To Get Very Good Shot's, You Have To Hold It Very Still, Extra Lighting Help's To Get Good Clear Shot's...But Over All It's A Great Buy & Very Useful.
Heres afew pics i took with my new Eyeclops Bionicam. Sure i admit that it is a toy and it will take some getting used to but this thing is awesome!!!! You do either need a steady hand or a flat stable surface to use it at the higher magnifications. It will take some getting used to but it already kicks ass for the price. The movies are badass to but i can't upload them here i guess.

very nice, i like the stand that one comes with but i love the color screen on the eyeclops. The ability to take it wherever i want is indispensable in my situation. Yours shoots at 2mp aswell and mine is only 1.3. But for 25$ I'm still stoked. If money was no issue i would get both!

This has nothing to do with anything, I just find it puzzling in that it's here and has nothing to do with anything. Bahahahahahahahaha
Anyway, I have the Eyeclops but I got the wrong one and it was not the USB version. It was fun to look but I wanted to take pictures. That one was given to my by my son and his wife. About a week later I ordered the 420 Scope version. It doesn't have a "screen," the screen is your computer screen, andd of course the shots show up in color before you click on the shutter release button. I'm quite pleased with it. :-)
Yeah taking pics w/ the eyeclops is a feat, The shutter seems slow and it needs to be held VERY STILL, Reaching for the button to take the picture seems to add further shake to the process at just the right time to blur the pic.
The movie mode is far easier to use and review but i can't seem to post them here and i don't want them on youtube. I also played around with the tv out cable and that seemed like the easiest way to use it of all.
Yeah, I took some video with mine of mites chomping on my leaves. :-( Stinkin' bugs. I am glad they are so small cause if I could see them unaided,, I'd be freaking out. I am terrified of spiders.
