| i was wondering when was the best time to topp or fim when the plant is already in its flowering stage. i have 3 clones i experimented with giving it 12/12 light from day 1. i see some pistols forming on the tops of the plants is it already to late for me? they are about 2-4 weeks in flower. | ||||||||

| If it is in flower I would say it is too late. Try bending or moving the leaves out of the way. | ||||||||

| i would say the best time is during the veg stage. i fimmed mine very early, they were tiny, but it turned into a beautiful tall plant. but to answer the question yeah i think its to late, bbut yeah training them is ok plus ull end up with either more weight on ur bud or longer buds. im not sure i didd it to mine soo ill let u know at the end of my grow

| you only top/FIM during veg - in flower it is too late as you destroy bud sites that way and cut into your yield literally. as these plants been only one day under 12/12 it is no big deal to move em back to 18/6 and top em then. FIM takes time to work, topping works way faster. if you face height problems in flower the best way to reduce em is by tying your plants down - also known under "LST" that way you can force also a topped plant to better usage of the provided light and keep outdoor plants out of sight for LEO.
