Default Nutrient specific test kits

High all..

Has anyone used, or will these kits that measure specific nutrient values?
Will they work for our tasks?

When I first got involved with this hobby, I use a kit that measured: pH, N, P, and K, individually. It came with a booklet to keep track of test readings.

According to the instructions, N-P-K should all be approximately equal. By keeping track, one can maintain the N-P-K by adding only whichever nutrient needed.

Great theory. Probably works,...for someone with more patience and diligence, than I. I begin logs, journals, and such, but, seldom do I see them through.

I didn't keep up with it so, no results to share.

High dad.... thaks for the 'history' and I understand you're bit on 'following through'... It isn't an easy thing to do. I know personally! LOL!!!

But I only change the rez 2 weeks after 12/12 and go to stronger bloom nutes. It would be nice to know 'occasionally' if mg consumption is up, or what the calcium parts are in my tap water from time to time.

Has anyone used these kits?
