high everybody, thought i'd do a thread on how i do my moms as i just
re-started them.

frankly, i'd not be doing them right now except for the fact that i recently moved
and so all my moms became unruly and overgrown and just flatly refused to fit
in the new home i had made for them, lol.

my solution was to take multiple cuts from all of them, partly because i needed
them to establish my SOG and partly because i knew i need to make new moms.

also, keep in mind that i am no expert, i'm just a determined stoner with a
need for weed, lol. ...what that means is that, if you do as i do, your milage
may vary. (i have to admit also that in many ways i neglect my plants, frankly,
it's a miracle they're still alive, lol)

that being said, i have spent the last 2 to 3 years growing plants and studying
my tail off! ...and boy, was it worth it as the weed i grow is way better than
anything i'd smoked in many years! ...frankly, about 3 months ago i smoked
some of my stuff with guy's i'd been smoking with for 40 years and they all
said it was the best weed they'd ever had, ever! ...lol.

personally, i just wanted a reliable supply of high-grade bud for my head.

anyway, here are some before and afters of the new moms and note that they
are all in 16oz cups, i plan on leaving them in those cups for the foreseeable
future as my room is limited and i haven't decided what to cull yet, lol.

...and these are 3 of the 4 White Rhino's i still have, you might remember that
these White Rhino's, along with some PPP's, were the first ever store bought
beans for me and i popped them about a year and a half ago, lol. (way before
i came to have the catalog of strains i have now, lol)

i,ve got white rhino beans feminized from greenhouse seeds in the freezer...are they a keeper? just want to hear a little input. i've got 8 moms & don't know what to cull either...how do you cull blueberry,,arjans haze,,afghan kush,, diesel ,,etc,,,??

problems??,,,,,hmmmnnnnnnn..... HAHAHA!!! what problems??? i can't remember

Liberty, not good to keep them in the freezer. In the frig yes, but not the freezer.

Looking good Bozo. Glad to here I am not the only one that abuses my plants! LOL!

In the freezer?!
Quite probably toast.
Don't freeze seeds. Molecules of H2o expand and rupture
the cell walls when frozen...
just like us.

high all, thought i'd post up some pics of the new moms a week after i'd
pruned them so you all could see the kind of growth i'm getting under my
new 96watt T5, lol.

i also want to illustrate that you don't need to keep monsters as moms,
especially if you have a catalog of strains as i do, you won't need all that
many cuts from each so they can be really small.

btw, if you look you can see that i could take multiple cuts off almost all
of my moms, and they were really nothing more than rooted clones last
week, lol.

anyway, here is the 'after' pic from last week after i pruned them with
the pics i took the other day to illustrate their growth.

Thanks! I shall soon be operating and I want a variety of medicine and this info is essential for a new gardener such as myself! It certainly will cut down on space issues for me. By the way-your moms look great!

thanks man and yeah, lol, they are all covered in dried milk, i aquired
powdery mildew with some new cuts about a month ago so i've been
spraying my plants with a 50\50 milk solution which hasn't eradicated
the mildew but has kept it very much in check.

and i have to tell ya, lol, i'm impressed with my catalog myself, lol.

it wasn't all that long ago that all i had was some bagseed, hell, i grew
nothing but my bagseed for almost 2 years, lol.

anyway, i have several i've not tasted yet so i'm really looking forward to
my first harvest! (it's been so long since my last harvest, i forget what
really good bud tastes like, lol)

yea u r the best man,,,, this is what i need to do when i start bak up.. jus waitin for the heat to go away,, moreso cuz my cabinet will bein my bedroom where my lady wants the ac pumping full boar 24/7 !! hahaa i got icecicles on my mustache an shes wrapped ina blanket,, but if i shut it off when shes sleepin she wakes rite up in not so happy a mood,,,, lol,,,,,,

Nice job!! I am having the same probs atm with trying to figure out which Fem's to keep. I don't have much room but this cloning stuff is so cool! I can see winding up with 20 clones and no where to put them! I'll be watching!!
