mess with the light cycles indoors and I know you can make them turn male but I dunno about Hermies. There was some discussion last year about that or something similar. Could have been posts by videoman who has been informed that he wasn't welcome here. We still have his posts. You could open the search window and try to find them that way. Quote:

One other thing: I cannot find the post but I know there is a certain type of acid that green_nobody has talked about that makes plants hermie. I will pm him and ask him to add his bit to this thread.
Peace

Rep Power: 202 | | I've been thrashing the graveyard for relevant material on this but, this is one of the more convoluted subjects in growing. Jangel, I think the acid treatment you're referring to is for increasing female ratios in normal seeds. I'll keep looking. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Zigzagman For This Useful Post: | |

I'm still a little lost on the point of the exercise, cause without a male to pollinate with ( down the road), you might as well keep cloning it. Or, am I missing something? That is what I came to conclusion of. I'll stick with clone or old fashion male female selection. I don't care hermi bud. Gives me a headache. Don't care for the mistery seeds. Peace.

gibberellic acid out of the group of the Gibbererellin guys is one way to do it which isn't too overly toxic. Gibberellin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There are other ways, as the light method which is good enough to push em into hermie state as well but is a less controlled method and takes a bit longer.
According to the Cervantes Grow Bible is ethylene also a possibillity.
There is also been a ready to use mix call "Stamen-it" by PG-Solutions, but i haven't seen their stuff in a long time so I don't know if it still available. And watch out, this stuff is hormone active, so full protection when working with the stuff please!

thanks for all your help guys. the main reason i want to turn one hermie is because i only have two seeds left from it. < ive only gotten one DB male and it got eaten befor ready to pollinate> and clones are great but its my freinds box that im having to use to keep em in and i kind feel bad for takin up some of his limited space.

Most plant nursery stores will carry Gibberellic Acid . Just follow the directions and be careful with the stuff. Wear gloves while handling and wash your hands thoroughly when finished.

Look in the overgrow FAQ under composting I think or do a search on worm farms online, google it. I used to have a worm composter. What you can do is dig up the compost, and shine a light on half of it, all the worms will then move to the dark side, and then you can harvest that part, add more bedding and continue on. Worms hate light so they move...easy peasy.
See, if you just ask, we can help ya Moon!
P>S> also look under organic growing.

i know i just dont wanna bug everyone. right now ive just got a five gallon bucket got some night crawlers and red worms in there. i was thinking about just popin a hole in the bottom blocking it with a sock, and when it gets ready to get going just flush it with water, someone told me that it doesnt hurt the worms and you get a mix of compost and worm casting tea, if youve been feeding them.
