Can a cannabis plant show it's sex in Veg?
I'm suspicious of two of the taller plants already

I have 10 plants going and I'm at week 5 of vegetation
I'm doing 18h on 6 off with the summer heat and giving them a bit of rest

I will start flower in about 10 more day to let the shorter plants a chance to catch up with the tallest right now at 15"

Yes your getting real close and maybe now if look you should see tell tale signs at about the 5th node and for sure at 6-8wks but you may find signs now.
You do get alot of growth in the 1st 2wks of the 12hr cycle so you can flip them now if your happy with the veg size,but from seed they say wait 8 wks from germination but it's not a hard and fast rule i don't think.

yes,plant can and will show sex during vegging.depending on the strain and few other factors, like grow conditions, plant will pre-flower around 5th-8th week letting you know it's ready to be flowered properly. the pattern of grow can also indicate sex but you would need a few grows of the same strain to learn how to recognise it with that strain.

Mine are showing sex, most of them, and they are under 24 hr light...not unusual at all.

Someone told me that your supposed to veg them till they do show sex. anything before that is classed as forcing.

If so when dose a male in veg become dangerous to have in the room?
I do know that in flower that I have 10 days from the time of ID them
But I think that I have more time in veg once ID ?

I have one male in there now, but nothing in full flower. he is just existing, but i can clone him anytime I want. I have cut all his nads off, keep him on the dry side, in a tight pot, and keep an eye on him. He looks pretty sad, but he is not dangerous in with my clones.

...could go either way, a bit soon to tell. It will either go into a rounded ball like sack (male) or a tear dropped pistol bud, which shows the differences. Wait a day or two more, you have lots of time yet. And if there are no girls with pistols out yet then you are good to go. Nothing to catch the pollen even if he does shoot it out. and it will take a bit more time for sure, just check low down as well, as sometimes there are a few nads low down that are harder to see.

I'll wait as you said and considering there still young and the others can't be pollinated yet anyway

My third grow and never saw it before, only difference I did was instead of 24/7 light I went 18/6 because of the summer heat.

Could be different variety thing too. I think that is looking more male as time goes on Lumix. usually with a girl, you will see fine pistols coming out. Like little hairs sticking out at leaf junctions. That is a girl for sure. That is looking more and more male.

BUT I am not sure so don't get rid of it yet...
