2 ways...one throw em in flower an pick the males out...two cover lower branches with panda plastic for a 12-12 effect once again pick out males..peace2

First I put on some slow music then I give her some Vodka, When I switch the lights to 12/12 it's over!!!!!!!!!

i'll be sure to take preflowering picks and whatnot for ya gp when i go to flower in the next few weeks

i veg them till they are of size then wait till i see their balls or hairs.

same for me.

I love the strains that show preflowers as soon as I see balls they go into the compost pile.

Women = good
Men = bad

I like to wait until the plants have 3 rd set of leaves.
That is usually 3-4 weeks.

I then switch them babies to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark.(For the growing impaired)

If the are in total and complete darkness they should sex in 7-14 days.

The darker you can get the dark cycle the guicker they will show.

White hairs are girls. Keep the girls.
Little balls that eventually burst and spread pollen are the males.
Kill the males unless you want to take pollen for cross breading.

Sometimes you will get hermies and they can be sneaky.
They may appear to be female at first.
So the females you find keep watching them to make sure they do not develop the male pollen sacs.

People gauge there flower cycle start time differently.

I consider the flower cycle starting when I can sex them.
It can take a plant up to two weeks to completely switch over to flower from veg. (with complete darkness in 12 off that is)

Also there are several claims of techniques that will give you more females.

I say once they are in 12/12 you must be regimented about the time change. Timers are impartive this point for inside growing.

I have also heard lower temps and more blue light from seedling thru sexing produces more females.

And of course there is always the seed selection chart that Bloodshot posted.

In all you are lucky to get 50% female of what you plant.
Maybe with more practice you can get that closer to 70-80%.

I strongly recommend clones.

They are the bom digity.

Males will show before females. Simply put females dont have balls. Dont worry too much about males. You will know that they are males before they start spewing pollen.
On a side note the nicest males I have EVER seen, and I MEAN EVER, are ones from AK-47 (Serious). Structure, symmetry, and node spacing are unreal. I really thought these were females. I personally think this is Serious' secret. I think they breed with a good mother and choose outstanding males.

TONS of features you don't normally find on lower cost cameras, including a 18.9X zoom and a Macro setting that is crackerjack for those close up trich/bud pics.The zoom has a 3x optical + 6.3 digital, and a nice monitor in the back to see what you are doing...
