Rep Power: 119 | | hmm. how will you treat the wood, or do you need to?
i hope a few people get interested enough to make this worth while, its not a bad idea for a contest. stoners are well known for being like MacGuyver when it comes to pipes and such.

hedge wood is one of the hardest woods that i know of the fence post was put in the ground by my greatgranddad in 1885 when he traded 3milk cows for 5 acers of land.
gonna use a bees wax for a finish, bring out the natural colors

The other day, I accidentally got a hit that went up into my sinuses... you've maybe done that, too...
Anyway, it got me thinking~ why not use those sensitive areas and come up with a "nose pipe", from which one would inhale with the nose? Has that ever been invented? Would it be a bad idea (maybe those membranes are too sensitive)?
Since then, I've been experimenting with a small water pipe. After I get it going, I stick the tube in my nostril, pinching off the other nostril, etc., and inhale. I can't really get a good hit that way. So someone needs to take one of those two-nostril nose flutes or something and turn it into a pipe!
You're welcome! Just send me one for the idea! hahaha.

That old wood you talk about sounds like it would make a lovely pipe with the colors and more. Todays wood isn't nearly mature enough to have any comparison to the old stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing the end results when your pipe is done.
I saved a large piece of a males stalk and was thinking of making a small pipe out of it, not sure that would work, but no harm trying,,,There is a lot of talent here, you all will be winners

Love that tepee fire idea! hahaha! So they did have nose pipes! I wonder if anyone makes that anymore.
I'm 1/16th Chippawa, but don't know anything else about that side of the family. Wouldn't it be so cool if, for one day, or one week, one of those ancestors could come and show you their ways? Or better yet, if we could go back there and then for a week and learn their ways.
