Rep Power: 500 | | Guerrilla Grow Contest 4/09
This month HIDHUT has offered a Stealth Camo Bucket wicking system that can be hung into trees(2-5gl buckets inner bucket has wicks to go thru soil and lay in bottom bucket drawing water/nutes up the wicks into the soil.)The buckets are covered in a camo sleeve.
This comes with a pulley to mount in tree,to raise and lower bucket.(you add rope)
This is a new product for 2009 and not in the catalog yet.
And a bag of foxfarm happy frog soil, along with sample size bags of Advanced Nutrients time released fertilizer - Heavy Harvest Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Now this is a serious Guerrilla product so We think it should go to an experienced Guerrilla grower.(when LEO is flying/hiking around they look at the ground, not in the trees)
So to prove you know what you're doing we need PICs of your last/latest grows, name of strain, and basic climate conditions(avg temp/humid)and a description of the challenges of growing outdoors(insects, wildlife, poachers).
This contest will be judged by the number of thanks it generates.
So if you like the post please show it by thanking the Member that posted it!!
Good Luck
and
May the Best Guerrilla WIN

Oh man that's a high class prize. I've seen folks do this with 5 gallon buckets with great success. That is sweet with the wicking system. I would like a link to see the prize also, if possible. Even thought I got nothing to share, to win. I just wanna see it if possible. Peace.

It comes with a Cleat to screw into the tree and tie off the ropes, just like roman blinds, or a boat...

Wow. That is an awsome idea! I won't qualify for the prize, but I am glad to know of the existance of the product... it is too cool! That adds a whole new level to stealth growing in non-freedom states.

Attached is a quick scan of the HT mag's stash awards from their Gear Guide. These are the Bush Buckets - from Highland Greenhouses. This one comes with a tree climbing spike to hang the bucket from/ to climb the tree with. It also is going to come with Happy Frog soil and the Heavy Harvest samples.
HAPPY FROG:
Your potted plants deserve the best. Their roots can’t seek out nutrients in the ground, so you have to bring it to them. That’s why Happy Frog^® Potting Soil is alive with beneficial microbes and fungi that help break down organic matter and feed the plant roots. Between the earthworm castings, the bat guano, and the composted forest humus, your container plants have never felt so good. And don’t worry—FoxFarm uses only the highest quality, premium ingredients—no cheap fillers, no topsoil, no sludge. Never. We promise.
*Garden tip:* Happy Frog^® Potting Soil is perfect for container gardens. Whether you’re growing a ficus in the dining room, a geranium on the patio, or a lemon tree on the deck, use our Potting Soil full strength in your containers. For a spectacular harvest, add our Peace of Mind^® Fruit & Flower Fertilizer. Then sit back and enjoy the results.
Embrace the Vitality of Happy Frog! Happy Frog® Potting Soil
Heavy Harvest: Heavy Harvest | Advanced Nutrients | Outdoor Fertilizer
Peace
