Default Tools

Im interested in finding decent or better than crap tools for a reasonable price. Not much. Basic tools needed for construction of a growroom.

Lets say....made plain wood frame wrapped in Panda Plastic. In an effort to save myself uneeded trips....

Where would be the best place to start? How much to spend?

Im assuming just a drill
bits
saw

Home depot, or walmart, actually given that choice, I'd opt for walmart.

Blood...

Another option you may wish to investigate is to build your frame out of PVC tubing...like 3/4". If you build a "cube"....it should be fairly stable/sturdy. You can then cover it with Panda...make a door...etc. Home DePOT may have the 3 way corners..if not you can order em.

Wood will be sturdier..but it will be heavier and less convenient to break down. If you do pvc and force it together/using no glue..you can tear it down/set it up somewhere else if needed.

just a thought...

Ive see the pvc tubing used for boxes...but people always seem to have a problem setting it up. Probably builder error.

Im going to look into it. Home depot would be the place I assume. And they can cut it to the size needed?

Im going to compare prices on doing it with plywood vs pvc. I'll get back to you guys on this. I need more room!

You could either make crosspieces to hang it from inside the cube...or hang it from the ceiling or other apparatus above the cube...dropping the reflector down inside the cube on chains/etc.

Smoke a bowl..it'll come to you!

Hey Bsiz,I make my living whit tools{carpenter}cheap tools are something we dont use alot.I would take a look at pond shops.Home depot and lowes sell what we call home owner tools and the good stuff too.Black and decker, skill both have a fair saw, drill.Dewalt drill bits in a kit for about $20.00 and you got a good set of bits, that will last you a long time.I would say the skill brand circle saw for around $40.00 and there drill for around $30.00 or $35.00. They will last you along time and give you good service.Look around yard sales I find good stuff all the time and you can talk them down alittle too. PEACE
