Rep Power: 60 | | Newest Idea!!! Porta Grow
Hey GP Ive been working with many ideas for a while now but here's my newest idea to get the best of both worlds both indoor and out door which would be very effective at least i think so. please leave your feed back questions concerns ideas or even alterations i was even thinking ...
about having a adjustable top that can come off where it can get natural sun light and convert back on rainy days, at night and when choppers are flying over head with a poly shield lining in the inside to protect from thermal imaging

I think you should use the B on the top (currently an intake in your design) and make it an outtake, as hot air always goes up and it will be easier to pull out warm air from that high point than to push in fresh air through through a hole that is at the highest point in your box (donīt take me for granted), check out your air flow design with Pullo, he has a lot of knowledge about air/ventilation. He has mentioned in one of his posts that intakes should be always in the lower areas while outtakes MUST be in the highest places. You can also check with him your intake/outtake ratio for your grow box as you can get overheated very easily because I donīt see any oscilating fan(s) that creates air circulation/movement inside your design
But hey this is just my humble opinion, here are my 0.2 cents
Regards and good luck!

What I do not understand is how you are going to prevent this from glowing like a lightening bud at midnight. Secondly, if I read your plans correctly, I see a lot of confined spaces which would be extremely hard to ventilate.
Personally, if you want to achieve your goal of being outside and supplement it with lighting, I would go with one of those tents the utility workers use when they are over manholes. They pop up in seconds, can be removed easily and allows for fresh air to circulate under the bottom edge.
Good luck on your project though, I hope it works as planned.

Rep Power: 60 | | 4evergreen This is just my first drawing of how it could look reason i put fans down on the lower B and top b was for intake clean air so fresh air would reach the tops of the buds and push it down to the bottoms i would use small window fans for the sides and tops then when the heat rises and air rises it would go right out the top thru the carbon air filter reason i didnt want them on top is because if your using a hps/mh with fans on top B that will be spotable anywhere from the air |

Rep Power: 60 | | Richard Owl Mirror well to prevent glowing i would put in the reflectix sheets sold at home depot around the whole area (inside) to trap the light inside and the bottom cabs would have small fans in them or large enough holes to to get are circulation |

but i am also considering just getting a handy cap accessible porta john
Dimensions 5 ft wide, 5 ft depth, 7.5'' height some what like this i think this would be alot better and easier too but either could be really great for a small basement or out door grow but this i think would be great for for a basement

Perhaps it is just the artist in me....but i think this would just be so cool...turning a portajohn into a grow cab....creative, funny, and perhaps with your ingenuity very practical.

i actually do like this idea, as for the poop chute comment it was mostly meant as a joke, but i can see this being very cool.

Reguarding the porta john, I looked but i was not able to find a price on one. Everywhere i saw them was only willing to rent and i don't think that is practical to any of us. I think based on the rental prices i found that it may be quite an expensive item even if i was able to find one for sale. Also I'm not sure that it would be the easiest thing to disassemble and move down stamdard stairs or around tight corners. These things were designed to be dropped off outside and left there. not saying it can't be done or wouldn't be good. Just guessing that it would be an expensive pain in the ass.

yeah but unfolded it's only 41"x 41" and i wasn't able to find the price, how much is it? Look i'm not saying this can't be done, I just don't see the advantages of using one. It sure would be cool looking, I just tend to focus on function over form. I'm also a cheap ass mofo.
