Rep Power: 97 | | My stealth grow box
Ok so my hopes of ahving a closet grom room were shattered when yesterday stuck to my door was a note saying all apartments would be "inspected" at the end of the month, what the fuck they just "inspected" them the beg of jan! Does this happen in anyone else's apartments? So I decided to grow three plants and hope I get 1 female. I decided to use smokedoja's design just in a smaller box. I used the box from my deskchair came with it is 10 inches wide, 2 feet tall, and two feet long. I use it as a stand for my lamp and it is always covered by a towel and is located in a corner of my room behind my lazyboy, very inconspicuous I am going to use 18/6 for my cycle so it can be turned off when I am not home. I have three 23watt cfl's on each side for a total of six. That is 9,600 lumens for a foot tall by two feet long by 10 inches wide space!(my pots take up a foot they are 3 gallons) I have about 10 inches to grow them up but more space horizontally so I will be using LST quite a bit. I will also downsize to 2 gallon pots so I can fit three plants intsead two as well as have a few more inches to grow up as well. I plan on flowering when they are about 6 or 7 inches. On one end of the box I am using a 7 inch fan for exhaust, which is mounted inside the box. The other side has the same size hole cut on the other end. I left it on last night with the fan going on low and this morning the temp was 76F! Here are the pics... hold on there's an upload error, my jpg file is 2.51mb, how do I downsize it to 1.91 should I use a lower resolution...

You can photoshop your pic size or do as crewdude suggests and use imageshack or I prefer photobucket.

Today I put two 4 inch flexible aluminum tubes on the inlets and covered them with cloth with cloth and turned them at 90 degree angles, they do not let any light out. I will get 1 or 2, 4 inch fans to use. The one I have moves plenty of air but is a little loud I want to run it silent. Once I get the fans I will use a couple 4 inch tubes for the exhaust as well. Then I will truly have a stealth grow box. pics will be up tom

idk if you necessarily need 2 to 4 fans on one box... prolly won't hurt but sounds excessive... just have one or two outputs and have a passive intake on something that small...

but overall nice looking box... looks like its a good size with good lighting, good air circulation, and good privacy... can't wait to get home and plant some seeds!

remember how small it is there, there are 6 light, 156 watts. It gets fairly warm in there. I have two passive intakes one wasn't enough. I have one outake but am still using a seven inch fan.

Yeah the box was nice for a a couple of weeks, I have scrapped the cfl's and now use a 400 hps. I still use the cfl's for vegging though...

yeah i have a 1000w hps just sitting here (found it at a garage sale for like 25 bucks) but dont want to risk it with this current wack job of a landlord she seriously does inspections like once or twice a month.
