Smile Nice. Keeps it simple.

Too bad that chart doesn't include lumen output. Still in all it's a simple and direct way of showing the power useage of each type of light.

Actually, that chart is talking about lumen output. I've seen that before, when I was researching cfls, and I think that was on an HID light sales website. Be careful trusting corporations.

Hey Johnny.....You pose a great question, and while LED's are defenitely the light of the future, that is where the problem lies. This is the present.

I believe most of what you read is purely marketing hype, the LED's can not grow from germination to harvest.....yet. Another problem is quality, if you dont know what you are doing, you'll be ripped off in no time.

Give LED's some time, and wait til they mature.

I remember buying my first digital camera for $1100.00 and it was only black and white, and help like 12 pictures, not to mention it was bulky too. Today you can get a good (color) camera for under $99.00
Peace

If cfl's and Hid lighting is working why fix it.There is proof that these lights work and work very well, till they can show that LED's do better than Hid or cfl's I'll stay with hid and cfl lighting it works. PEACE
