Has anybody ever made a grow cabinet out of those 4 foot by 3 foot 2 door metal office cabinets? If so I would like some pointers I plan on using CFL's as lighting. Thanks and God bless.

I was using 5 - 100 W CFL's. Did OK but just not enough. I just purchased a 2 ft 4-tube T5 set-up for my next crop. Seeds just coming out of the soil now. Results in about 2 months.

I've seen those metal cabinets used before, there's a thread somewhere with pics of before, during & after the conversion, not sure what site though & can't find it right now.
I guess the important thing is to be sure of layout inside & how your ventilation, electrics etc will plumbed in before cutting holes in it. Defo bear in mind the metal, electric & water combination and make sure it's safe.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I love this site, I can't talk to anyone in person about bud because this state is so unfriendly when it comes to cannabis. Thank God for sites like this one.
