dwc 5 gallon buckets, gh 3part flora series, but doing the lucas formula with only micro and bloom, with calmag+ and hydroguard.
for ph i use some europonic ph up and down
and for odor control im using a carbon scrubber!

DIY, stands for "do it yourself".
I am sorry, but you'll need to....do it yourself.

couldn't you add a pvc tube to the top of this with dryer sheets(heh.) or something in it as to filter the scent? Also.. are commercial air purifiers worth getting if someone wouldn't want guests wonder what buckets with holes in the sides are for?

to make it super stealth, you'll need a Carbon Air Filter, scratch the whole pvc with dryer sheets idea...
just replace the computer fan with a Vortex or Can Fan, then add the carbon air filter of your choice... you can even build your own at a fraction of the retail price.
this will filter out all the smell coming from the growbox

Keep your fans bolted in tight so they dont make much noise, you can get an air/noise filter for them too if you want (probably on newegg.com). press your extension cords into corner of wall or under edge of rug to conceal, grab some of that wall's paint (if you got any extra in the garage like i do) and paint the wires the same color.....no one will ever see 'em.

sorry meant fans. there are also filters and rubber things (like fan shocks) that go in between the fans and (usually) computers. im not sure where you can get them nowadays but ive definitely seen them before.

What do you guys think of making this a hydro setup? Couldn't you simply add another bin on the bottom with the waterstone and cupholes cut into the lid of the bottom container and the bottom of the container on top.. the roots would hang and you'd have the whole space of your top bin to let them grow..
I'm trying to have a super stealth hydro setup.. i don't even want to let the thing outta the box until it's time to harvest..
I'm wondering if i should use a cabinet or the rubbermaid method...
any thoughts?
THANKS!!!!!!
