i done that but the work it makes isn't worth the $3 a airstone cost you Munchies. i basically took a piece of garden hose, close of one end with silicone and made a million holes into it, stuck the air hose in and glued the other end shut as well. the problem is that this thing will start to float if you don't glue it to the bottom and when you fill it with sand it will block most of the air from lowing thru so only the first inch bubbles. besides that it takes hours to punch all these holes in with a needle.
