|  diy cool tube WARNING If you are going to use a pyrex bread baking tube to make your own cool tube, BE AWARE that the inside dia. of the bread tube is only 3.5". you will have to get a t15 bulb to make it work. For most hps i dont think thats much of a problem. M/H, thats a different story. I am having a hard time finding a 250w m/h t15 with at least 5k . They exsist, but cost over 100 bucks. You would be better off getting a real cooltube ,then you can use any bulb you want. | ||||||||

| Its only a 250 watt but my room is now about 3 to 4 degrees cooler. BUT like the title says WARNING . I had to buy a second bulb to make it work , if I hadnt found one on ebay for $5 I would not have been able to build the cooltube. In all the posts Ive seen about this set-up nobody mentions that a standard bulb is too big. | ||||||||
