Dehimidifier

Well here I am again. It s fall and it is col,ing f finally . I was happy not to leave my AC run all day. So my temps are all right but i forgot 1 thing. Humidity!! So does anyone knnow a method to remove moister from the are or how to make a DIY dehumidifier unit.

I was thinking about mabey an open sac of charcoal or rock salt to suck the moister from the air.But I have cats and really dont want to clean up the mess from this if the kitties think it is palytime. Any thoughts?

Dryeze Air Crystals are sold in the camping section and come with a vented container. They are fairly cheap too. I am probably a little off on the name.

OK I solved my humidity issue. I took the large cup of water I set down in front of one of my fans closest to the light (water+heat+airflow=humidifier) out of the area and behold humidity is much lower

so you were not trying to get the humidity out, but instead create it? was this post about a humidifier or a DEhumidifier? this thread has got me confused...

started for DE, looks like someone started talking about creating humidity... stoner confusion. the salt seams like it might help control humidity to an extent.
