Hey Girls&Guys, I bougth 150 watt cfl about a month ago and just let it sit in the box.I got off my but and made shade for it today.Picked up a mogul base socket and start to build the shade.Driving home from work one day I spoted some shiny stuff on the side of the road.Stop to see and low and behold it is reflector material.About 5' wide by 6' or 7' long rolled up.In the truck and home we go.This is the stuff that is use to reflect light from shipping boxes.White one side and silver on the other,about 3/16" thick.I have alot of stuff here in my shop to work with so I started building.Just got to finish the wiring it in a elec box so it is safe to hang in the grow room.I will veg and start clone and seeds with it.The whole set up cost me $6.73 for the mogul socket and $21.47 for the 150 watt CFL all the rest I had laying around.So what you guys think of it? Thanks Toke! I am getting my wife a few of those lamps for Christmas, and was wondering how a good reflector could be fabricated. Now I know!

I hope to have it in place this weekend.I build a DWC drip tub about 8 months ago and ever put it in service.I had two soil grows going and didnt have the second HID light at the time.Alot has changed sence then.I was building the cab and didnt have the room to use it.Now I'am changing things again.I will have the cab going ,the closet and the tub.that's why I builded the light shade.150 watts and 3-65 watt light will be for this start.Sorry I'am pretty tired right now and I think I'll say goodnight and head to bed.I will finish this tomorrow. PEACE

Good Morning All,It was about a year and 8 months ago that I builded the tub.It's a drip DWC.It holds about 20 gals water.I will be using only 15 gals.It was the first hydro I ever made.I didnt even use it.I was growing in soil and doing reserach on hydro and started building the cab I have going now ebb&flood.I have the closet with the DWC bucket in there.I was going to veg in the cab and flower in the closet,but that changed too.Both are in flower now.So this is what I want to do,Veg & flower in the cab,set up 3 or 4 buckets in the cloest to veg & flower 30 days apart.Then in the room outside the closet there I have the clones and seed going now I'll set up the drip tub and the clones.That's why I needed the light.Money is tie right now so I cant get a 3rd 400 watt light.This is the plan start clones and seeds, get 4 going and put them in the cab,get 4 more going and into the closet and 4 more in the tub.All about 30 days apart.This way I can pull clones off each,the cab,the buckets,and the tub to have as mothers.I can do 3 difference strains.They will be in 3 difference cycles 30 to 40 days apart.Well that's the plan something is being clone or seed and veg and flowering at the same time.If this works out I will not be out of MJ for more than a week.I love growing and hydro too. PEACE
