New Grower Security Concerns (moved thread)

i think there should be a stickey on how important it is for a non medical grower to keep his or her trap shut about grows and why. im willing to write a stickey on it for all to hear. from cop tech that can read your texts to shit they have to see rite threw your walls.... anyone game for it? private message me and if i get enuff ill get up off my paranoid stoned ass and shed sum lite to ppl that think the laws on your side.....

dont see your point or purpose in these forums posting things like that. Its just showing love from a medical grower who only grows in soil.

i think with any ilegal substance grown there should be the pros and cons of knowing who to know and who to tell. these days u cant trust anyone. whos to say u show ur bud ur lil grow op and it just so happens u have to much of a opp and he go's running his mouth about ur 'legal' op to sumone that keeps on telling ppl. one day ur busted all bc u think ur legal. nothings legal my friend. i dnt mean to sound harsh but its as harsh as sum super dried buds. u may be legal but that just means they know you grow. theres one person other than urself that didnt need to know a damn thing about what you do.... u gat a card for them to watch you and wait for you to screw up and have to much or whatever. im not jumping your shit but im one to keep whats mine MINE and what ppl need to know down to a min.

Having a card says you use cannabis, it just gives you the ability to grow. You have to break the law in order to be busted by the state... unless they cooperate against you with the feds. The feds go after compassionate clubs, and higher commercial growers(Who already break the Medical state laws). The #1 rule to growing is you dont show anyone..or take chances with the law, especially if your trying to be "legal"..so thats too bad for those who dont know their shit. Dont jump to conclusions White Trash, your way of life isnt the only way. And smoke a fatty, you seem paranoid.

As a legal MMJ user, I can tell you with certainty, that whether I was a legal med patient or not, I REFUSE TO LIVE IN FEAR!

I would not be growing if I could not do it in a legal manner...(but that's just me)

That does not mean "be stupid", but it does mean that a human should not live in a constant state of "what IF", and eternally wringing their hands with stress over it.

Med patients are worried more about petty stuff like staying alive, hoping they can feel well enough to get to work the next day (providing they can still work), or worse yet hoping the state or Fed will finally step in and allow them the disability income they deserve and paid into, and now they need it. Med patients are worried about little things like if they will have enough cash after rent and utilities to buy decent food for the next month...

No, I will not live in fear. You can if you wish, but I'm too damn busy enjoying life.

I think that you have totally missed the point of this thread. I understand your concern for staying under the radar. We all want to avoid suspicion from leo. Your concerns might be better in a thread under security. I for one am totally new to growing my own other than a few outdoor experiences several years ago. I appreciate what Scott is trying to do in this thread. He and the others are passing on the experience and knowledge that they have acquired through the years. Unfortunately, I do live in a state that is not legal for any reason; recreational or medically. I hope that you will never have to experience health problems that take away from your quality of life. I hope that you do not have worry about how you are going to pay for prescriptions that add to 400.00 or 500.00 a month. Show some compassion. There are some of us on this forum for other reasons beside recreational use of MJ It sounds like you know your stuff about growing. Please pass on your growing knowledge.

hum guess i was misunderstod......... im not the greatest with words.... all i was tryn to say was haveing the right lights the right growing equip and proper place is just as important as keeping your ass safe and to know we all dont live in a fairy tale world where everyones with you and not against you... thats all.... as far as parinoid. u damn rite i am. ive been screwed with all my life with the fuzz. all im sayn is ppl need to know how to grow and how to keep your nose clean and fly low off the radar. ive seen before where there where young kids on here and im sure by them seeing all these great posts and informational treads they get the feeling like its ok to set up in a closest and grow lots of pot with out acually seeing what could happen to them if cought. im not lucky enuff to live where medical cards r given. im just looking out for everyone in all aspects of the matter... its better to see what mite be comen and do something about it than get cought off gaurd and let the war against drugs take u down and let the feds win..........

ive grown for years under the law. now fortunately i dont have to. the biggie is keep your mouth shut. loose lips sink ships. every person you tell will increase your chance of getting busted by 10%. tell 10 peeps and your outta there. everyone is your best friend when you have a fat stash. people who dont or have never grown have this concept that when you grow its all free. so when you dont share to thier expectations your asking for it. its normal to want to brag about your nice plants. you just cant. when you grow you live in a glass house. everyone you tell is a stone. people in glass houses should not throw stones.

I agree with both of you. Start a thread under security and Leo and persue this topic for the uninitiated. This thread is under growing for the newcomer. We can also include a link to a thread on security for the newbs and then that too will be included.

Also, if you think there are young kids posting on this site, PLEASE tell a mod and we will deal with it. We all work very very hard to keep kids off this site. This is an ADULTS ONLY site but they do get under our radar occasionally. So help us if you have suspisions about anything. We are Mods, not Gods, so hence we cannot know everything that goes on. So give us a hand, peeps.

In the same vien, we, being adults, have chosen to do this. We understand that very very well. Many here are involved in different ways behind the scenes to change this. That is why we do it.

Whitetrash, I understand your feelings and am not discounting them. Start a thread in the appropriate section and of course this too will help the uninitiated understand better what they are dealing with. And this too can be added as an important link. It is all pieces of the puzzle, my friend.
