i couldn't agree more

Ive been harrassed by cops,
followed by the same cops,
Illegally searched more then i can remember,
Car torn apart more then i can remember,
Cops stand in my face and tell me they will beat my ass if i did a certain thing,
Ive been in house's that get raided by the narcotics team and it is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE how they talk to you/tear up your place, cut wholes in the wall lookin for **** that didnt even exist! and that person got evicted,arrested,and had to pay back the damage done by the cops to the landlord ,AFTER they got out of prison,

Ive been at a good friends dope house, a certain cop (((((( ONE I MENTIONED ABOVE THAT GOT CAUGHT DIPPIN THE 8 BALLS OUT OF THE EVIDENCE ROOM)))))

CAME IN, WENT TO THE BACK ROOM WITH MY FRIEND, STAYED 3 MINUTES AND LEFT WITHOUT SAYING A WORD,

I ask what it was about, my friend said This cop allows me to sale/distribute only if i pay him $3000.oo a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well long story short, another copfound out about it, came to my buddy's house,
Told my friend (who is doing 30 sumn years at the moment) if he didnt cut HIM into the pay aswell, he would bust the guy major,

My friend said **** You and is now being transported to prison after prison,for the next 30 sumn years,

This is no lie, every friend i had is locked up for alongggg time, and 2 in the ground.

I HATE COPS, they lock us up, hit us with fee's and penelaties , clock out and go home to drank a cold beer while our family is weeping and were entering a world of Killor be killed.

The cops go after teenage kids here, who are just looking to have a good time w/o hurting anyone. As soon as they get together the cops aren't far behind. Taking kids to jail and running them thru the legal system for dime bags.

Let's get to the point here, all you attorneys out there, is this legal? Can law enforcement use private invoices, purchased from hydro supply stores to build a case that will hold up?

pretty much, the police could have suponad that info if they really saw a fitting reason and "probable cause" for it.
I think that the only safety provided in these means would be that most companies do buisness with out of state customers, thus they fall really under little to no jurisdiction for the particular prescient asking for the information. Hence why I believe 5-0 would also attempt to ask for a purchase regarding to the information that they wanted.

Most hydro shops would likely provide that as well. They cannot be entitled responsibility for whatever species of plants you are raising and they are not expected to withhold your information from those inquiring about it even though it is a good business practice to do so.
Furthermore, how could you proove that the information was obtained in either which manner?


And why does not taking your trash to the curb make you suspect for being a marijuana grower?
Whilst I can see that many of growers do not do this, but it is no real reason to believe on its own that the person IS growing marijuana. Thats sheer speculation if anything....
For all they knew the guy didnt take his trash to the end of the curb because he had someone sick he would rather attend to or he has had animals messing with it there in the past....

Its one thing to have a reason to subpoena high times records w/ proof, but to go fishing for it is extremely different, not too mention illegal.

Trust me guys, the war on drugs pisses me off to the highest degree. I argue all the points against prohibition whenever provided the chance.

But honestly it surprises me that anyone would expect anything other than this to occur. I mean come on; ordering indoor growing equipment to the place you grow is just moronic. It’s like the #1 rule about growing in a country like this after not telling anyone about it.

I also think anyone ordering seeds to their house is also making a huge mistake. I don’t even like using a credit card to buy stuff from the hydro shop. I even drive around checking the area for spooks before stepping inside. Dark sun glasses and a hat are a good idea too. I’d even try to get a ride from a trusted associate so they don’t get my LP#, and make sure you’re not being fallowed home. I also never post on these threads from the grow spot either; you can be traced that way too.

Put yourself in the mindset that you’re a CIA agent deep undercover in the Soviet Union and everyone is out to get you. There where American spies living in the USSR for over 20 years without being discovered. If they could outsmart the KGB you can outsmart the DEA.

I’ve been caught with pipes and never ticketed. One time I even got pulled over for a tail light and was driving with no DL and admitted to smoking pot. My brother is working on his criminal justice degree; he's anything but a looser. He was going to school to be an engineer and decided he wanted to help enforce allot of good laws that get overlooked. I always b!tch that he will have to arrest people for doing the same thing I'm doing, but he’s my bro so I love him and he’s super cool about what I do and just tries to say he wont go after people like that. We shall see.

You do not get charged with leaving the seen of a crime if you do not damage any property. I know I did it. I Left a totaled truck in the HWY with an AK-47 with two mags taped together and a bong. I thought better of it and went back and told the cops it was my vehicle. They said there was nothing they could do because they had no proof that I was in the truck at the time. They took my bong gave me back my assault rifle and sent me on my way.

The good ol' boy system that lets crooked cops walk pisses me off too but it's not just cops getting off like that (politicians, local sports heroes, wealthy donors, etc, etc).

This was back in my younger much dumber days, not my Jason Bourne undercover guerilla grow op days. LMAO

That was only the reason they began their investigation. Did you even read the article? They listed at least three other reasons for the search-warrant. First they find you, then they gather more evidence, then they get the warrant, then they get the proof. I thought this was common knowledge.

Believe me...the DEA CAN DO ANYTHING THEY PLEASE. Whether iit holds up in court is one thing...but bar none...if you meet them your life WILL be turned upside down and you have NO recourse to stop it.

high times was a good mag in the late 70's. Now it's a 12 year old /pre-teen babysitter rag full of photoshopped pics of neon buds and pretty pot that cheapens what we do by treating cannabis/growing like a circus/x-rated side-show. (ads with little girls in braces with fake pot strewn all over their private parts are a tip off that something just isn't right, IMO)

Hey everyone... I'm new here. I have a story like that where the dea screwed someone and didn't even tell them about it. I live in the detroit area and a friend of mine is having a issue with heroin.. not a good choice but whatever. He was pulled over after leaving a dope house by the dea and told that if he flipped on the dealer he would be cut loose, they thought it was a weed dealer, turns out the guy had everything but weed. The dea got a kilo of heroin, a kilo of cocaine and several ounces of crack out of the house, so it was a good bust for them. My friend went home and didn't think anything of it. Three months later he got a summons in the mail from the dea saying he was being charged with felony possession of heroin. He spent the better part of last year on house arrest and is still on probation now. Even worse he can't find a job to pay his fines cause now he is a felon. I agree with the dea doing certain things to control the flow of opiates and certain other dangerous drugs, but bottom line is, they had no case without this guy and they screwed him. Its been my experience that most regular cops don't care about weed unless its a large amount. I'm a EMT and most of the medical community is still wondering why weed is illegal.

And just a side note. I buy high times to look at bud pics cause my first grow was bag seed and I was trying to figure out what genetics I had. I don't order anything from the mag, or online, and never use a credit card to buy anything related to growing anywhere. A good rule of thumb is use cash, if there isn't a hydro store around you, then find one and go on a trip to buy your stuff...

Dammit, that's f'd up. Just goes to show you can never be too careful. It is a rough fact that people in this category are targeted for the potential profitability in sacking these little and medium sized ops. As always, I recommend watching Barry Cooper's Never Get Busted Again series and to refresh on the subject matter frequently. I rewatch portions of the videos about once a week. It also pays to keep your eye on advancements in detection technology and to discuss these topics within the framework of anonymity available. Maintaining as cloaking an anonymity as possible is also advisable, as well as discussion and research to achieve that. It sucks to be so readily persecuted for something you are entirely aware of it's benignity, so aware of the unjust pressure of prohibition. Being aware of the facts of marijuana and being able to express somewhat openly the benefit and relevance can dilute the imperative to keep it safe. It seems we should be able to do this out in the open without fear of reprisal and it could be easy to forget how dangerous living under the gun can be. Taking the necessary steps to assure protection against these predators can prove to be the difference in lives and with freedom. It can have deadly or heinous consequence. Just a reminder to find out how to be safe and practice it. Nobody (on this side) wants to be reading about you in these stories. Peace and unity everyone.
