actually, i think the way i presented the proposal in my first thread may have obscured my actual question. disregard my mention of My Space, as it was a poor choice as an example.
the site as it is, in this format, are so active that we, by definition are a flourishing social site. i feel like it is in a much better forum than the way site like myspace and facebook are set up.
the difference is that we have a common bond that unifies us, and promotes interaction, sometimes even in real time, with each other on a daily basis.

so the forums are very well done as they are. member numbers speak for that themselves.
my proposal was simply for the enhancement of our profile pages. if we want to communicate with or interact with each other on a more individual level, we do that via PM or by the visitor messages on our profiles. they are excellent as they are now. very easy to stylize, and it is easy to navigate it through the different sections/functions.

i just thought it would be fun to be able to add, maybe a media player to it. maybe something that even syncs with GP media. you can go to GP media and create a play list, but it seems cluttered, and as far as i can tell, you cannot display or access your play list from the profile page itself. it seems like they could be merged.
or would it be feasible to enable youtube video embedding?
idk, just stoned and curious. there are many more worthwhile ventures underfoot as it is
