Dear Jangel, Flour cloth is a close knit cloth that is used for many things. I cut one in fourths for straining my butter. Cheese cloth is a very lose knit and doesn't catch all the raw material left over. My butter is a very light green not dark, and does not have a heavy taste to it. I'm sure it's because of the flour cloth. Thanks K

Thank you Kathleen for explaining...I gather it is like a thick cotten duck cloth? If it is saturated I would use it to make a pillow! LOL! Not sure, sweetie, but keep talking!

she has a point.. theres alot of good stuff in the cloth.
it really only makes sense to extract if you are making small amounts.. but.. maybe if you boil it in water the butter will float to the top and the cloth will be clean. then just scrape off the butter from the water

Hi all, I tried the milk thing with a friend and she said it gave her a slight body buzz. When I tried it I got nothing. When I make butter again I will try it right away maybe that the ticket. I will let you all know. Thanks K
