Default Which strains make the best green dragon (high)?

Not sure if this really belongs in this section, but here goes.

This applies to green dragon made with the hot method.

Which strains make for a nice green dragon high? (For my purposes, this means a nice buzz, and relaxing without gluing you to the couch or knocking you out). Or have you experienced much difference in the quality of effects from strain to strain, when used in green dragon tincture form?

The reason I ask is, I have made 2 batches of green dragon, using the same exact technique for each, and same amounts of everclear/bud. Batch 1 was made with bud from mystery strain A, and Batch 2 was made with bud from mystery strain B. Let's assume that the buds from each plant were perfect representatives of their strains, and all harvested according to trichome color (60+% cloudy, with little to no amber).

Batch 1 is nice. 1.5 ml makes for a nice buzz, relaxing with no real couch lock, mellow, etc. Takes away stress headaches. Does make me a little bit goofy (not much, really), and adversely affects my spelling.

Batch 2 is paranoia, headachy, negative effect on equilibrium, tiredness, lessened sense of physical well-being.

Can these effects be strain related when we're speaking of tincture? If so, which strains (when properly grown and harvested), make the best quality of green dragon high?

Thanks.

I used buds from plants of two different mystery strains from a mixed feminized seed pack from the bank I use (it's one that is appreciated by mods and admin here). They were my first plants. I don't know now which one was sativa, indica, indica/sativa, sativa/indica, etc. I do remember that neither one was an autoflowering plant, though. Each plant was grown in the same fashion. The buds were harvested according to trichome color (60+% cloudy, with little or no amber), flushed for 1 week (I know, I know), and hung in the dark until stems snapped (a few days). There was no visible mold/mildew, no seeds, and no sign of hermaphroditism. Only sm90 and flora nova grow/micro/bloom were used, I did no foliar spraying, and I did flush the medium with copius amounts of water for a week prior to harvest.

ETA: I accidentally took 2.5 ml instead of 1.5 ml of Batch 1, 2 hours ago ago. It took me maybe an hour to finish the post above, with no sidtractions in the room. But still feelin good. Good stuff.

The best strains are the ones where the thc crystal is straight. There are thc crystals where they are hooked, so the theory is that they get damaged moreso than the straight ones during the extraction process.

Hashplant I believe has straight thc crystals.

Hi kill-9.

I've spied the hooks with my little scope. I thought that that was just what immature trichomes looked like, because after a few weeks, I didn't see hooks anymore, but instead plenty of balls on stalks.

Maybe I'm just getting the picture wrong inside my head. When I say hooked trichomes, I'm thinking of the trichomes when they look kind of like thorns sort of in a diagonal position. Are there any strains that you know of besides hashplant that exhibit this trait (hooked, mature trichomes)?

ETA: Well, I found this on google. I see what you meant now about the trichomes. Learning something new every day.
